We left Zeiskam around 4:00 pm- Fritz took us out to the highway, and drove about 16o miles to Fussen, located on the southern tip of Germany, just a few miles from Austria. We left the highway about 20 miles before Fussen and drove on the most beautiful country roads I have ever seen. Around every corner there seemd to be a new and different breathtaking scene. We finally pulled over and took this picture.
When we arrived in Fussen, we discovered our hotel tucked away behind
the town. I found the hotel on the Internet and we couldn't have made a better choice.
We had a large, bright, spotlessly clean room, a balcony with a wonderful view, and Peter Schoostra
made our stay there very enjoyable- ice for our cold drinks and a thermos
of coffee in the evening. We hated to leave and we do plan to return.
