John, our guide

John is a beefeater at the Tower of London. He was a wonderful tour guide and told us much of the history of the area, as well as the history of the Jack the Ripper murders.

Aldgate Church

This church is in the area where Jack's victims lived and worked the streets. It is also the church where the head of Lady Jane Grey's father was hidden. During the Blitz in World War II the church was damaged and the skull discovered.

Tavern in Whitechapel

One of Jack's victims frequented this tavern and was here twice during the evening of her murder.
